Can you "pay as you go" if you're a student of DCU or do you have to pay for the full membership?i ask because I'm a member of another gym and would only use this once or twice a week. Wouldnt be worth paying €200 when I'll barely be using it. Can anyone help me out

No pay as you go, no pool only membership. You can pay for 9mo or 12mo. There are some classes open to the public as pay as you go, and if you join certain clubs you can use the facillities through them

You can pay as you go in the gym up on the Ballymun Road. It's about 10-15 minutes walk, but it's fairly decent, in the pool anyway. I went swimming once or twice during the year, cost €6 for a student swim if I remember right. There's stuff about it on this webpage, hope it helps!

Just a question about DCU gym : will it be possible to pay the gym for 3 months ? I don't know yet if I am staying only 9months or a year and I don't want to pay the whole year if I'm not staying here during summer...

    Not exactly accurate.

The Academic Year's termination date is (apparently) fixed, and so you lose out if you select it late in the year.

    So it would seem anyway.
