These lads seem to be the house RTE "trad" band.

Never saw them before (don't watch too much RTE) but they're good!

The performance seemed all over the place yet together at the same time.

The High Kings are decent enough! Finbar Clancy is a son of Bobby Clancy (Clancy Brothers), Martin Furey is Finbar Furey's son and Brian Dunphy is a son of the late Sean Dunphy (he represented Ireland in the 1967 Eurovision and came second).

You missed your old pal last nite.. Him of the self indulgence and medieval facial hair..

JA, I was out on temporary release last night ;)

I have to agree with you, Jack's performance was very disappointing :( I'm going to see him in a couple of months, front row seats - yipee!

Celebrity Banaisteoir : The Rivals Embarrassment

I know its only supposed to be a form of 'light entertainment' distraction at a time when nothing is usually on anyway...but really. These amatuers dedicated to their sport for their whole lives, training twice a week for the game at the weekend...are supposed to take what exactly from someone who comes in and has to be taught the rules of the game such as bouncing and soloing the ball?

    Embarrassing is right

I once caught Rory when he did an athletic stage dive into the Front Row of a gig, the mad hoor. He could have been crippled if I hadn't been on the ball.

Epic gig too, The Revs were brilliant.

That would be an excellent name for a compilation CD. An excellent stocking filler at Christmas time :)
