ECCE Degree = Infant class teacher????

    Just wondering if anybody knows whether or not' if one has an honours degree in Early Childhood Care and Education can they teach infant classes in a primary school?? As far as I know you can in an infant class??

    Best check with the Teaching Council, but as far as I know you must be a fully qualified primary teacher.It's unlikely a school would take someone on,even if they could, who was only qualified to teach infants as theoretically all the teachers in the school can be swopped around eacy year-so the 6th class teacher one year might be the infant teacher the next. Plus, if the school loses numbers, the teacher last in goes on the panel to go to other schools-so again,unlikely that someone limited to one class level would be taken on.
