Is there a year/semester abroad for Journalism?

    Hey guys,
    I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether you can go abroad in the Journalism course, whether for a year or a semester and would it be in Second or 3rd Year? Is it based on grades or is it just up to you to organise it and pay for it etc.

    There doesn't seem to be anything online stating that it's a part of the course, but I know Laura Whitmore (face of MTV Europe) did Journalism at DCU and according to her Wikipedia page she had a semester abroad at Boston University.

    They got rid of the semester abroad a few years ago. In fact, they're getting rid of a lot of the course.
