Form 12 v Online declaration of income

PAYE worker - I've declared a modest amount of UK dividend income via the revenue online system and the tax adjustment has worked its way onto my payslips by reducing my net income to reflect

My question is, do I need to go any further in terms of documentation? i.e. do I need to send in a form 12? Dividends are approx 5% of my salary, which is less than 70k so not a hugely material amount

    Grateful for any guidance

    Hi

Yes you will also need to submit a form 12 by 31 October 2012.

    Kind Regards

Thanks Dbran. Just went onto the website to look there and could only find forms for 2011, in which tax year I had no liability.

Could it be that I have to file one for 2012 by 31st Oct 2013?

Forgive my ignorance if the above is stupid but that seems to be the premise of the pay and file system unless I'm missing something
