help for samurai mythology project

hey guys i have to do a project for classical studies on samurai gods and mythology if anyone knows anything please please please please please contact me as i am frustrated at the lack of results i am getting

In terms of god/religon most samurai would follow either

One's a religion, the other a military code. I'm not sure what you mean by combining them. You may compare do a comparison with Christianity and Chivalric codes or the dichotomy inherent in the Samurai code.

no its just that for my project i have written about shinto gods and i need something which can show me a link between the samurai and these shinto gods if you get what i mean

Also, Google Scholar (an academic version of Google) is better for sourcing information online. Some of the articles you'll find will ask for payment (e.g. material uploaded to SAGE, JSTOR, etc) but if you know anyone in college they'll be able to use their university accounts to get the material for free.

thanks but I need information readily available and the books would take a while to get here and i only have a week and a half plus i need to have a look through them before i buy them but thanks anyway:(
