    Can anyone advise how long it takes to get a date for access hearing once you apply to the district court

    Really depends on the district court you apply to. For example Dublin will obviously be busy, but they do sit daily. Other areas might not be as busy but may only sit for family law once a month.

    Just bear in mind that where the application is served by reg post there is a requirement to give 21 days notice to the respondent.
