    Hi all
I'm in Thailand at the minute. Every time I take money out of an ATM it's costing me an extra 150 baht. I think this is by the Thai bank - not my own bank (ulster bank)

Does anyone know a way around this? I'm using my credit card and keeping it in credit so I hope not get charged fees by my bank.

    Thanks!!

There's one bank (Aeon??) that doesn't charge the 150 baht. But I've never seen one of their ATMs! A couple of the other banks have a small number of ATMs that don't have the fee. Google will fill you in on locations.

I think it is actually a Thai Government levy on foreign ATM cards.

Yeah, thats good advice, there is some locations here, http://www.travelforum.org/thailand/6366-aeon-atm-locations-bangkok.html

I've been to Thailand twice and never bothered to look for one, I just withdraw 20,000bt to minimise the number of transactions I've to make.
