Is the Gait Analysis done in Elverys and Lifestyle sports done right or would it have tone somewhere like base 2 race to get it done properly.

Gait analysis is only looking at a video of your feet when running to see if you pronate to recommend the correct runners. Anyone can claim to do it after about 30 minutes training, but its experience that matters.

The reason why Base2race and Amphibian King have a better reputation is because their staff have a good reputation for being runners themselves and being very good for giving advice and helping customers choose the right runners. There is more that gait analysis to buying the right runners for you.

Mind you, I was in Elverys in dundrum this week and I was very impressed by the guy I was talking to. ( Andrew, in case you are interested)

I had it done in Elverys in Mullingar and was hugely impressed by the knowledge of the girl that done it for me - she was a runner herself. Has made a huge difference injury wise etc for me.

Elverys can be a bit hit and miss though - you need to get the right person.

Sorry Amphibian King do Gait analysis and not Base2race.I know this can be confusing.

Base2Race do gait anslysis or i was taken for a ride 2 months ago.

No sorry you either thought you got your gait analysis by base2race but it's actually Amphibian King.

Go in and ask one of the guys who work for Base2race for a shoe fitting and they will tell you ''Amphibian King do the shoe fitting''

Maybe you failed to see the Amphibian king signs inside or the yellow track you ran down.


Not sure what you mean by taken for a ride though.

Apologies, me getting my wires crossed. Just thought you were saying there was no gait anslysis done in Base2Race.
