Refreshing maths before college

Does anyone have any good tips on how to refresh maths knowledge before going to college (mainly algebra and calculus)? I'm going into a computer science course and I know maths will be a big part of it. I haven't done anything related to maths over the summer so I'm afraid of being a bit rusty when lectures start. I got a C1 in honours maths in the 2012 LC. Any good online resources / books? Are there any books that can explain WHY things are the way they are and not just this is how it is and learn it.
