I have'nt seen that since summer last year. There was a farmer and his grown up kids selling door to door and traveled in an old white transit. We got a few from them and they were good size but after a few weeks the size of eggs on offer became very small. You did not get to pick and when you were'nt in, they left the same batch size as last time at your door. They would collect the money the week after if you were not in.

Soon, we were sick of eggs and stopped it. Neighbourhood must have stopped around the same time, as he has not been back.

    No, a big chicken.

    :P

To be serious, yes, maybe from Athy - I can't remember. No markings on the pack but the eggs are stamped alright. He rang rather than leaving them.

One of my in-laws buys from him and gets enough for us as well - the eggs are always fresh and its a bit cheaper than the supermarkets so we're happy. As per the previous post, he always knocks and won't just leave them there.
