Hi, Would anyone have a ballpark figure on how much it is to have this repaired, I know different garages will have different prices but am just trying to factor cost into my budget and as usual wasn't expecting this ! So if anyone has a rough idea it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Should be under €100 in a local auto spark, don't go to an actual mechanic as they'll most likely take out the alternator, drop it into an auto spark and charge you for their time as well.
