Get a three to two pin adapter at the airport.

And get completely ripped off. Leaving it to the last minute will cost you, buy a european adapter (two round pins) in any electrical shop. Voltage is not an issue.

You need an adapter which will take your current UK plugs and convert them to go into one of these....

I usually bring a double adapter for our plugs as well, or buy a couple of adapters, to charge multiple items at the same time. I got stung in a hotel with only 1 plug available and needed to charge a few things.

+1 I have this gadget, allows me to charge the iTouch and HTC Desire at the same time from one socket and it comes with WW adapters....

You can find adapters in the airport as suggested or any travel/electrical shops (either here or there).

I brought a European two-pin to the US by mistake last month.

Used the hotel room TV's USB input to charge my phone.
