Dropped my bloody only key to my peugeot 206 outside the house, by the time i'd the baby in and got the place babyproof so i cud go out and get it someone lifted it!
I took one of the wheels off and have it jacked up, can anyone point me in the right direction? Standard immobiliser and central locking on it.
If i get 2 new keys cut will they have the same code as the original? That wouldn't be much use to me as the fecker can still just drive it away. Anyone recommend anyone for the job?

Most immobilisers can be recoded with a different set of keys. I'd just remove the battery or pull the fuel pump and ignition fuse and keep all four wheels on. Leaving a car standing on a jack for hours on end is dangerous. One gust of wind or shove by someone annoyed that they can't steal your car and it'll fall off the jack and damage your brake rotor (If not cause any more damage).

problem there is that they could still get into the car for belongings etc.

the expensive but sure way to protect is change locks barrels and keys and immibiliser code.

    Bad luck.

Compared to the guy who found a key yesterday and did his best to get it back to the owner. Shows there is good and bad out there.

That helps the OP no end. Dublin is a city of over a million inhabitants. A small portion of those are thieving scumbags. Maybe nothing has ever been stolen from or by the 1 million people who live in your surroundings, but I'd doubt it.

Check with your local Peugeot dealer, it'll still be expensive and take some time to get the replacement keys.

may be covered under your insurance - might be worth a inquiry?
