    Hi All

I own a cinelli experience roadbike and on the way home last night while busting my balls trying beat my time on strava the freehub starting making load noises and then started turning freely.

Took the freehub out and it seems that the pawl's are not catching the hub on the wheel, spring is fine but once you try pedal you get a grinding noise, it is the pawl's that catch the wheel hub for traction right???

Next question is can you get Generic freehubs that are the same as campagnolo ones?? Campy one is coming in close to 100 quid and I haven't really got that at the moment.

    J

I'm confused, are you looking to buy just the freehub body or an entire new hub. Freehub bodies tend to be fairly specific. Cheaper alternatives to campy hubs can be hard to find but they do exist. I'm pretty sure Miche make one but I can't find anywhere that sells it right now.

Just that freehub, its a pain trying to find one or even parts. Might just buy the pawls themselfs first and see if its that.
