gun clubs

hi all, I am a member of the local gun club but it is a club that has no land my membership in up in a few months and i looking to join a club that has land in the wicklow area so if anybody knows clubs looking for new members or were i could put my name down on a waiting list it would be a great help ,, THANKS

Hi lads there has to be somebody that knows a gun club in Wicklow in the bray area I have even rang the nargc they just said they will pass my phone number on to the clubs but I haven't herd from them and that was last week ,,

i was talking to andrew a few weeks back its in wicklow town it wount be up and running untill next season,,

Your better off getting a list of the gun clubs in the Wicklow/Wexford area from the Nargc and writing to them yourself, I went through the same as you a few years ago. I found the local nargc lad to be a waste of time, he asked me to send him a cv of my shooting experience and he would give it out on my behalf. I contacted him every few months and he kept asking me to send more cv's.

Got the club list and contacted a few clubs myself got a lot of no's but got into a club in the end.

I Rang them and just asked them, If you know the name of any of the clubs your looking at ask them for the contact for the sectary,

Ring the nargc head office don't bother with the lad from Wicklow,

hi lads i am still looking for information on gun clubs around wicklow cant seem to track them down i tryed the nargc a few times all they keep saying is that they will send my number on to the clubs ( still waiting ) . if anybody knows somebody in a club around ashford to bray area could they pm me thanks all..

Why dont you ring Hill top shooting in Newcastle and ask them for info, they are a target gun club but may have game club contacts, or try the gun shop in Gorey , surley he could help you.

i am a member of hiltop and called in to a few gun shops bray tallagh enniscorthy .looking for a club that has land for game shooting

contact this shop in inch just befor gorey ask for micheal fenton he might be the head lad in ashford ,,, but most club wont have agm to consider u till march 087 90 222 09

you should try and ring ashford gun shop they should have a contact number of somebody in one of the clubs.

cavan shooter

They are not that hard to find. Go into the local co op or shooting range and start asking questions. I checked the NARGC page and I see there isnt a contact mentioned for the County Secretary. By the way some lads dont like the idea of phone numbers being given out willy nilly. Do you know anyone in the area, you really need an introduction. Thats how most of us got into Clubs.
