Series 2 of this show started last week. It features two girls, Bláthnaid Treacy and Laura O'Connell, as they travel around Europe using only couch-surfing as their acommodation.
Couchsurfing is a simple concept: travelers ask ‘hosts’, who can be found online on well organized websites, if they can stay in their home for a couple of days – for free – to participate in their lives.

But couchsurfing is not about free accommodation and the girls sometimes have to pitch in with housework or even sing for their supper. Bláthnaid and Laura stay with over twenty households in 10 different countries, getting a taste of their culture.

I loved the first series. Anyone else watching? On every Thursday at 9.30, repeat Sunday at 11.15.

Good show, fairly unique concept. The narrator does my head in though, made me switch off after 10 minutes:mad:

I know, that's the only negative about it. I find the two girls very likeable though so they kind of make up for it.
