    Hi!

I thought this would be the most suitable section, as you would be the people in the know. :)

I've recently started working in Citywest Campus, and this week i''ve seen two propellerplanes coming in from Tallaght and on into the city. They seem to always go in pairs.

Does anyone know anything about that?

It's wonderful to look at, and it looks really fun. So if you read this: Please do more spins over the Citywest campus luas-stop. :P

Its probably these aircraft http://www.flickr.com/photos/38016434@N05/4009294531/ or other aircraft from the Air Corps
landing at casement(Baldonnel) , it is just the other side of the Naas Road.

Ah, cool. Thanks for the swift reply. :)
Edit: Found some clips on YouTube, and many people seem to be so negative about the planes. :(

I don't see the reason why, but YouTube-commenters are a breed of their own.

There's a lot of hate for the Air Corps in this country.
There's people who believe our defence is inadequate .

And then there's people who believe we don't need any military at all, but the Air Corps aren't exactly an organisation that was set up to fight in wars. They have many other roles

But then again there's people who believe those roles can be fulfilled much cheaper if we outsource it to private companies. Imagine Enda Kenny arriving at Brussels in a G6 that has a Ryanair livery on it! Okay maybe not that drastic but still..

Don't get yer head in it, it's messed up :pac:

Amazed you weren't aware how close to Baldonnel you are. It literally is just across the road, the Naas Road that is. You should swing by the place for a look. But don't worry you'll see plenty of activity. My sister lives near there and sees lots of overflying.

As for the Air Corps debate, well not for this thread. But it is long overdue for some reorganisation and they should really get rid of those pointless PC9s. Not an Air Corps hater myself. But I could easily see it run down unless it starts have a meaningful role.
