hi, my spouse and me split up a few years back and she went off to america and filed for an american divorce there. I was sent some forms which i signed and pretty much never heard anything avout it again.

Im one of those people that block out stuff, so I spent th elast few years in a sort of trance or fog and never really thought about it until recently.
    two questions?

    1. in the eyes of the law here am i divorced or am i still married?
    2. what are the tax implications?
