Is there any shops in Dublin or Irish online (need them quick) that sell mens swimming briefs (ie speedos)?

Bought recently direct off speedo.com - very fast delivery (they use courier so not a cheap option). Also try swimshop.co.uk, simplyswim.co.uk or activeinstinct.co.uk - should get them within a week. If not, I've heard others use swimkit.ie

Does he swim in the nip? That'd go down well at the local pool.

Is it Elverys in Blanch, where they had them when I needed a new pair? The one next to Lidl.
They are common goods in sports shops, don't worry.

I always swim in briefs - can't stand board shorts.

swimshop.co.uk are a site I've used before and would recommend.

I'm also looking at making the move from shorts to something more "aerodynamic". I was looking at a pair of the tight shorts (skins) that look like underarmour - pretty common in olympics by the looks of things. Kinda go down halfway to the knee. I've heard reports however that these don't last long? Like the pros change them after every race. Would they wear out fairly quick?

Do you mean jammers? I wear these; got a couple of pairs of Speedo Endurance from swimshop.co.uk a couple of years back. They last really well, only starting to fade in colour now, fit is still good.
The really high-end stuff the elites wear is designed for speed not longevity, but there's no need for most people to go to that extreme.

These are usually base layer undershorts, they are not swim jammers and the chlorine in the pool will have them destroyed in no time.

Get yourself proper swim jammers which are treated to resist chlorine. All the main swim brands do them.

Cheers for the replies. So anything like this would stand up to the chlorine? I probably only spend 45mns in the pool once a week anyway
