How do find if you have a hole in the exhaust. I hit a sod of truf a week or two back that was on the road and I feel it may have hit the exhaust

Is the exhaust any noisier? If not you should be ok, you might have dented it or more than likely done no damage what-so-ever.

More than likely cracked along a weld, happened to old car, but before i fixed it was some boooooooooo for a 1.4 VW engine :p

I remember as a child when my old man picked me up from school.

Most of the exhaust had fallen off his 1979 Opel Rekord.

It sounded like a dragster coming up the hill, and he wouldn't go past 20 mph in it till it was fixed!

No more than normal. It sounds a small bit bad when starting off driving but fine after that.

They can be hard if dried right.
