Sony TV problem

Not quite sure where to put this so feel free to move if in the wrong place.

Basically, tried plugging a USB into my Sony flatscreen and the TV just turned itself off and now has a blinking light on the LED (two blinks then pause). A quick google seach has provided what the issue is but no remedy. I can't even get the TV to turn on in order to try search around and change options or maybe get to the root of the problem.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

Edit: managed to get it rectified. Close thread. Thanks.

    How did you rectify it??
