Error message when trying to open Internet

Hi I am getting the following message and can't connect to net.



The Application has failed to start becuase MSVCR100.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the application to fix this


Any ideas ? Thanks

What internet browser are you using? Have you installed the latest Visual C++ runtimes? (2005 & 2008 especially)

Internet explorer. Haven't installed anything since I got the laptop 4 years ago

Try updating the runtimes above, it may help fix this error

Yeah but how can I install if I can't access net from pc ? On phone now

Do you have any other web browser on the machine? If not download the files on another machine, copy them to a USB key and then install them. Some phones may let you download them and then copy them off the phone, so you could try that
