What Laptop to go for?

Looking for a Laptop with similar specs to these underneath.

Processor: Intel Core i5
Ram & hard-Drive: 6GB at least for Ram & 1TB SATA
CD/DVD Drive: Multi Format Dual Layer

Seen a Laptop in Currys today Samsung Series 3 300e5c for around €630-650 I think.
What do you think of this laptop or do you have any other laptop with the specs above that might interest me?

RAM/HDD are cheap those days and can be added later.

What will you need your lappy for ?

College Course work, also doing cloud computing course.
Alot of photos to be stored aswell.
Applications.

I really want a laptop that's gonna be still relevant in a few years time not just for next year eventhough new technology moves fast these days.

And I would prefer a reliable brand but I'm open to options.

Just to say, re the cashback I think it is based on your address not the currency you bought the laptop in (they send you a cheque or bank transfer so you can't lie lol) and it is only €100 for residents in ireland.

I'd rather spend 20 yoyos more and get this Lenovo Z580. More RAM, USB 3.0 and a better webcam.

1TB HDD would be preferable but I can settle for a little bit less.
I can get extra HDD in store separately.
