Potterton Suprima 80 and Sunvic sz2301s

My gas heating system is a Potterton Suprima (80 I think) with 2 Sunvic SZ2301's out of it. As I understand it the system is divided between the front of the house and the back of the house. (We used to have an electronic control panel which could be set to Front/Back or both but now just use an analog all off all on switch)

Anway, since the last service a month ago, we turned on the heating for the first time yesterday and only the back of the house radiators are heating up. I am clueless about these things but I've noticed that one of the Sunvic's is slightly warm and the other is stone cold. Which by my powers of deduction is leading me to suspect that somewhere here lies my problem.

I have someone calling out in a couple of days but want your thoughts so I am a little more informed. (I don't want to call out the last crowd that did the service as I feel they might have caused the problem so I just want it fixed by someone else!)

Thanks for any advice as to what may have gone wrong.

Is there any room thermostats on your system? If not, them either you have a wiring issue, i.e. no power to the MV when switched on, or else the valve is sticking or motor is knackered. Unless you are competent with electrics I would leave to someone who is to fault find and sort it out.

Hi Heated. I unscrewed the cold Sunvic and the valve underneath was quite sticky so I turned it manually and the heating has returned. So I'm thinking I will get the plumber/gas installer that is coming tomorrow to remove both Sunvic's as I don't need/use the front/back of house function at all. I presume this just means the heating will go "All on" and "All off" from now on.

(I presume one of those pipes from the working Sunvic was heating the water as it was getting hot)

    Thanks for your help.
