As title suggests, I'm heading to Amsterdam with a few mates sometime in October. Pretty much just looking for somewhere to put the head down for the night but hoping someone can suggest somewhere decent, clean, good location, cheap, etc

Probably asking a lot but price and location are top of the list. I've checked trip adviser etc but reviews differ a lot on any of the hotels I checked out
