    Hi Lads/Ladys

Does anybody have an idea what a 2010 Pinarello in Sky team colours ridden by Brad wiggins in that years tour de France would be worth if it came up for sale , Letter of authenticity to accompany the bike also . I know were i can lay my hands on it and im just wondering would it be worth the investment . Im not saying how much it would cost me , im just wondering what it might fetch if i resold it. NOW ITS THE 2010 NOT THE 2012 BIKE

    Cheers , Bayles

Whats components are on it, and what wheels also. They could easily affect the price/worth by a few grand!

    £2700 http://www.climbonbikes.co.uk/bike-frames/pinarello-dogma-2010-sky-team-edition-frameset

Not to sound like a ballbag, but it's worth what you pay for it.
And when you go to sell, it'll then be worth what someone is willing to give you for it.

You couldn't get your hands on the Team Sky toothpaste from 2010, as well, could you?

"Investment" implies expectations of it going up in value.

It's not exactly Steve McQueen's Ferrari 250 is it? :D

No, no, no. "Investment" means that it comes out of someone else's budget.

Not to be confused with "strategic", which means loss-making but sexy.

The only comparison I can think of is the Cavendish bikes on kinetix

HTC Highroad Specialized S-Works Venge Teambike at €12,500

    and

HTC Highroad Scott Plasma 3 Teambike at €6,500

I've no idea but I'd say if you're gonna get it move it on quickly or you'll be stuck with an over priced souvenir that example that was posted has £800 knocked off it.

I think most folks want the newest and the best components nostalgia doesn't really come in to it unless you're an avid collector. :D

Well a 2012 Wiggins Dogma 2 didn't meet the reserve price when bidding ended at £10,400 a few weeks ago on eBay.
I'd love to know what figure the seller plucked out the sky for the reserve price.

Presumably you'd have to buy a whole fleet of Sky bikes, cause the one on it's own, well, just wouldn't perform :pac:

Would definitely need a summer and winter one at least....

You can buy Bradley Wiggians bike..But what you can't buy is his single minded dedication, or his natural abillity..:D

How much is B Wiggins bike worth?
Depends how much a fellow Belgian is willing to pay,
