Hi all, Oscar Verne's Coffee Bar in The Ferocious Mingle Marcade on Thomas Street, starting this Friday, will be open on Friday and Saturday nights until eleven. This offers a new destination for people out at night but who don't want to go to the pub. For any of you that have already been to the Marcade you will know there is a small venue and there will be old time silent movies showing.
The Marcade is at the Francis Street end of Thomas Street and is only a few minutes walk from Christchurch. For those driving there is free parking in the area from seven and because it's not at the heart of the city there is always space.
