    Colin Firth takes Caine's role with Alan Rickman, Stanley Tucci, Cloris Leachman and Cameron Diaz also in the cast

    Enjoyed the original with Michael Caine and Shirley MacLaine...didn't really want to see it remade! :(

    For me, the 1966 version's charm is in it's simplicity...the elaborate heist "plan", a small-time thief with a few tricks of the trade (and not an underground bunker full of army technology) and a curious relationship between the two main characters.

    Hi folks. I thought this movie looked bad in the the trailer. Having seen it, I can confirm that this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in the cinema. I liked Cameron Diaz in what happens in Vegas but she's terrible in this. Ridiculous Texan(?) accent & trying to act like Penny from the Big Bang Theory. Avoid it like the plague. And she really wasn't the worst. I think the script played a big part in this train wreck.
    (note: I think the target audience is middle-aged women who like Colin Firth)
