    Conns or ISS

ISS are cheaper, and nicer to deal with in my experience.

What do you want to rent?

Camera clubs can also be good, and you can borrow from other members .... or a friendly boards member too.

Be prepared to pay for renting, I rented a 10-20 sigma and it was 75 quid for the weekend!

I looked into renting before, but the prices are crazy.

If it's a one weekend rental it makes sense, but if you're planning on renting it for longer, or renting several times, you might as well just buy the lens.
