    Taken from Wrestlezone.

Thanks to Wrestlezone.com Reader Devin J. for the following results:

-Edge comes out to start Smackdown. He talks about being on SyFy's Haven and says that he has never seen anything like Daniel Bryan and Kane. Edge calls Bryan "goat boy" and Bryan comes out. Bryan rips Edge, telling him to go back to acting and head home. Edge and the crowd start to irk Bryan, who is getting irritated.

Kane comes out and Edge gives him a hug. They both ask Bryan to join in, and he screams No! Damien Sandow comes out to interrupt, and cuts a promo only to be interrupted by Edge. Booker T shows up and says that Damien Sandow will face Kane, and not Daniel Bryan.

    1. Damien Sandow Defeats Kane. Kane was distracted by Bryan, who was on commentary. After the quick match, Bryan takes both championships and yells "I am the tag team champions" up the ramp.

    - Kane is searching for Bryan, but Dr. Shelby comes in. They have a little conversation with all three of them, and Dr. Shelby said he will try to get Bryan a match for tonight. Next, Alberto Del Rio is with Booker T and says he wants another shot at Sheamus. He says if he can win, he will consider it. He books Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler vs. Randy Orton and Sheamus for tonight.

    2. Layla Defeats Natalya. Eve was at ringside on commentary. The match was quick and reminiscent of Raw's match with Beth and Eve. Quick and a little sloppy.

    3. Randy Orton and Sheamus Defeats Alberto Del Rio and Dolph Ziggler. This was a fast paced match with a lot of action. Del Rio got the early advantage, but Orton would hit an RKO, followed by a Brogue Kick from Sheamus onto Ziggler. Sheamus would win Dolph for the victory.

4.Cody Rhodes Defeats Daniel Bryan. Throughout the match, the crowd was into it. Bryan chants echoed through the arena, especially when Bryan connected with multiple kicks onto Rhodes. Bryan locked in the No! Lock, but Kane would come out. He would stand at ringside, and would distract Bryan. This allowed Rhodes to hit his finisher for the victory. Kane would laugh at Bryan after the match.

-Backstage, Bryan is searching for Kane. Bryan finds him, and complains about his pyro distracting him. Bryan says Kane belongs in a basement, while Kane says Bryan belongs in a petting zoo. This came off extremely funny. Sandow and Rhodes are backstage together, laughing at them. They say their stint at tag champions is going to be a joke. A match is made between the four of them.

    5. Brodus Clay Defeats Heath Slater. We get a quick match once again, almost identical from Raw. After the match, Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal come out and attack Brodus. They leave Clay laying, with the Camel Clutch being locked in. They celebrate over his beaten body after the match.

    6. Santino Marella Defeats Antonio Cesaro. Santino hit the Cobra after Aksana's distraction backfired, which caused Cesaro to lose. Aksana seemed to hurt her leg, which led to Santino rolling up Cesaro. After the match, Cesaro said "we're finished" in five different languages. Aksana looked nervous and worries and that was the end of the segment. The match itself was quick, and the crowd did not seem interested in either of the guys at all.

    7. Kane and Daniel Bryan Defeats Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow by Disqualification. The other tag teams surrounded the ring, as lumberjacks. Rhodes and Byran worked extremely well in the ring, which included a close pinfall after a Beautiful Disaster. Kane and Sandow worked would get the tags. Cody would use a chair and hit Kane in the back with it, causing the DQ. Kane and Bryan would fend off the other tag teams that surrounded the ring, which included The Uso's, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd, and Prime Time Players. They delivered multiple chair shots, as Daniel Bryan shared his chair at first with Kane. Very good stuff here to end Smackdown.

Was it for the titles or was in Non-title? The spoilers aren't really clear on that fact. Either way good to see the WWE is getting good mileage off the team of Bryan and Kane!

Lets hope they don't over expose them so soon tho!

People are tragically hoping Sara Del Ray will replace Aksana.
Bryan hopped out of a bin

Seems far less skippable than normal.

Haven't watched Smackdown since three hour raws started - some good matches there though, the ending sounds great. "Bah God, look at the carnage".

Anyone know who was on commentary?

    Cesaro must be blind.
    Or gay.

    That's my only conclusion.

i just want to see how big he could get if they actually put him over a big name ie cena, rock, hhh, undertaker

I never know which is Naomi and whick is Cameron, but one was jiggling nicely during the beatdown. :)

So take it Aksana's gone from tv now, unless she sides with Santino, or rather Santino's hand similar to the Ben Affleck/J-Lo episode of South Park.

Best WWE show is a long time imho. The lack of the usual CM Punk or Del Boro whinefest made such a huge difference right from the start.

The Kane/Daniel Byran spots as usual stole the show but their tag match against Rodes/Sandow + the them laying the smackdown on every other tag team was just epic :D

More stuff like this please Vince :)

Watching it now and oh man i have not had such a good laugh at WWE in a long time.

Edge Kane and Danny Boy are great in a skit.

Daniel Bryan's face when Edge and Kane invited him to the hug was priceless.

I have not seen a team this over with the fans since the Rock&Mick foley.

Guess I'm in the minority but this Kane/Bryan thing is painful viewing for me. I've actually lost interest in watching the show after that opening segment. I'll probably turn off after the Sheamus match and skip the rest.

It was funny, but like everything else, they are hell bent on running it into the ground as quickly as they can.

Doing that is such a American thing to do I feel. Anyone else shudder when they even suggest Sheamus vs Del Rio again?

I am starting to think the hugging it out gimmick is the WWE writers way of trolling the PG era.

I only caught the main event, probably not a good idea to have Kane and Bryan destroy the whole tag division in 2 minutes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,166 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

Yeah but at least it was with chairs and they can build Kane up to be a monster when suits.

except they didn't, kofi/r-truth were not there and neither were rey/sin cara or primo/epico (all higher ranked teams than the usos or gabriel/kidd), personally i wouldnt have had ptp in that segment either because it did kind of hurt them, i suspect it plays into the storyline further on though

anyway the first 35mins or so of this show was great tv, bryan popping out of the box saying he wasn't a goatface was fantastic, loved the chemistry between bryan/kane/edge and sandow in the opening promo, bryan and sandows facials are just brilliant

I don;t mind Kane and Bryan taking out the tag teams. A team taking out possible opponents is no different than a singles wrestler taking out his 2 or 3 opponents in a triple threat/fatal four way.

Also it's more acceptable than Big Show taking them out with no fallout

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,014 ✭✭✭Mr.Saturn

I'm actually somewhat relieved it's one tag-team taking-out a couple of others, instead of a main-event singles wrestler single-handedly decking the lot, or even worse, the champions, like what we've seen with HHH, Cena, Big Show et al in the last decade.

So how many months will Sandow be sidelined after all those chairshots?

If they are going to turn chairshots into a highspots. Just fecking give Bryan the Hardcore title and shove him down a kiddie slide.

    Enjoyed that show so much.

Bryan and Sandow have stood out as brilliant for weeks but I am also really enjoying Kane now. Seems to be having fun and I am having fun while watching.

Wasn't expecting the Slater, Drew and Jinder team. Especially after superstars with Drew being a face against Jinder. Hopefully it will lead to somewhere good for them.

two really good shows this week.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,166 ✭✭✭Stereomaniac

Yeah, I watched Superstars immediately before looking at Smackdown this week and I couldn't understand why Jinder Mahal and Drew MacIntyre came running in together either. Wasn't that show recorded in front of the same audience as well? Stuff like that kinda insults the intelligence of the viewer I feel. But overall, I thought this week was great.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 90,227 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

It is still strange seeing Edge with short hair

Kane is actually interesting and watchable now imo

Kane and Danny "Goatface" Bryant have made the tag belts a worthwhile goal and i am sure we will be seeing "I'm the tag team champions" on t-shirts before the end of the month.

Was like Slater was censoring himself "that fat Funkasaurus".

Looks like Mahal is the dumb member of the team from the way they treated him there. And who would've thought we would see Slater leading his own group?

After all the whuppings Slater took in the lead up to Raw 1000 it is the least he deserves.

Good on the mic, can draw heat naturally, why not, hopefully Drew will pick up a few things in terms of mic skills/getting noticed from Slater.

Yeah, he really came to the fore in those weeks and I know it made me want to see him do well afterwards. But then he was just jobbed out to help others that didn't need it like Orton.
Just hope it grows. Maybe Mason Ryan can join as well to add some muscle

Its about time there was some sort of stable forming, if you could call it that.

I hope Cesaro drops the title tbh, although not to Santino
