Campervan/RV license

6 Friends and myself are thinking about doing a fly drive trip next sep/oct to California and Nevada using a rented Campervan After looking am i right in thinking there's no restriction on the size or weight of what we can rent on a normal Irish B license ? Or would we have to have a C/D for the larger ones ?

The weight restriction on your licence applies unfortunately. I have heard of some rental places allowing RVs >3500KG to be hired by European B licence holders out of ignorance, but you wouldn't be insured.
