Classic car business ideas

Just wondering if you think there's any room left for new business in classic car sales, parts or indeed any other area related to classic cars?
Is there any services/products classic car owners could do with in Ireland?

I've run my own business for over 20 years and it's tough out there at the moment. I'd really like to try something else and set up something either full or part-time in this area or maybe work for someone else.

I'm sure a lot of people will say forget it but still curious just in case.

if i'd a million to spare on outlay alone, using that as bank against the cars & such it'd be worth doing... otherwise avoid it... due to what people want vs whats finacially viable...

I wouldn't bother tbh, I sell classic cars and sell more stuff out of the country than in it. Too many hurlers on the ditch here who'll spend so much time talking ****e you wouldn't believe!!
If you are going into it aim for the UK market but the compitition's stiff and the logistics can eat up your profit. Good luck though if you are going ahead with it and if there's any help I can offer feel free to P.M. me, :).

If I had the dosh to spare I'd love to develop a business along the lines of the Ace cafe in London, with a good sized parking area outside for individual clubs to have meets, or as a final destination for classic runs. I don't think we have anywhere like that here.

It'll remain a dream unless I hit it big on the Lotto. Actually doing the Lotto would help though...:)

I used to live near Matlock Bath in the UK... not sure if there is any gathering point like that here in Ireland.. I know there are few in the UK.

    Ace, Boxhill.. etc.

But would it work here? Or would you be knee deep in people idiots in scangermobiles using your toilets but buying nothing!

Esso Cabinteely on the N11 southbound seems a popular gathering spot for some
