Calgary - health/travel insurance

    Travelling to Calgary next week and was wondering what I need to get in terms of health and travel insurance? Can I apply for the alberta health care insurance plan on the IEC visa?

    yes you can, you are legally entitled to it as a resident in alberta.


    Ive been here for almost 2 years, great oul place.

    Ye I was told that but is that all I need? Would I need to get global healthcare from VHi or something else?

    to enter canada, i think you still need full travel insurance, i think mine was 219e or there a bouts

    are you studying or working over there? i want to emigrate to start work in the oil fields
