    Hows things,
Rang revenue last week and was 10-15 minutes on the phone talking to a machine then got hung up on. I applied for PAYE anytime then last week and I received a pin out in the post, logged onto PAYE anytime, got told I'm owed a sum of money which I am "currently claiming" according the website and couldn't claim it for some reason!
How do I claim my tax back and stop being emergency taxed still?
    Thanks

You seem to have several issues here.

1 When you login to your paye anytime account, do you see your present employment listed? If not and you are being emergency taxed then you need to either speak with your employer or Revenue to sort it out.

2 How were you told that you were owed a sum of money via the paye anytime site? Refunds referring to prior tax years are normally indicated on a P21 form in your paye anytime inbox.

3 You may need to watch the video guides on how to use the site and have a look at the link below as to how the paye system operates.

4 Unless something radical has happened to the 1890 menus in the past while, 10 to 15 minutes navigating through the menus is a bit long. You can contact your local paye section via email also.
