So I'm getting desperate on the jeans front. I haven't bought some in quite a while, and the ones I have are begining to be ripped to the point of no repair, so need to buy a few pairs, or I'll either be looking at wearing potato sacks or t-shorts soon, neither of which are preferable. Anyone know of any stores that sell nice jeans/ chinos that won't completely break the bank? Like if I could find some for under 40 preferably, as I'm on a tight budget atm. Thank you :)

It would probably help if you told us what part of Ireland you live in (yellow submarine is ambiguous!! :D ).

There are outlets of Jack'n'Jones in many counties and they can have some jeans for about 39.99. Zara does nice jeans for as low as 25 but can be on the slim or skinny side which doesn't suit everyone. Also Penneys do both chinos and jeans for well under 40 - their styles are starting to look more trendy and contemporary so worth having a look.

Heya. Sorry, forgot to specify my exact location, it's Dublin sorry! Jack and Jones was thinking that. Zara for 25 surprises me, that I must check out, I don't mind slim, don't like skinny mind. Yeah, wasn't too sure of Pennys, their clothes were quite nice over summer, must check out their jeans, actually might have bought chinos there that were quite nice. Thanks for suggestions! If anyone can think of anywhere else in Dublin that have nice jeans would be real grateful, really getting the wear out of my current ones!

There are one or two nice pairs in M&S if you prefer a wider leg. You'll have to root, most of their jeans are what I call "granddad" jeans but there was definitely a couple that weren't. This year Zara, Penneys et al all seem to have gone for the carrot leg look.

Could also look at going out to the outlet in Kildare. A lot of the shops like Calvin Klein have bargain rails. These are not the greatest fitting jeans out there but if you're on a budget then it's worth a look.
Shops in town like River Island and H&M are doing clear outs of their summer stock at the moment for the new stuff coming in for Autumn so you might also get your hands on some of that stock.

If you're a student, you can also get discounts in places like TopMan (20%)

Main places I shop are River Island, H&M, TopMan, Jack and Jones, Pull & Bear and Zara. All have offers on some jeans. It's just a case of finding what fits you best.

H&M and River Island do good cheaper jeans too, normally around 40, sometimes 50. They do a variety of fitted too, from skinny to straight to bootcut. I have a few pairs and they've actually lasted a good while.
