Help picking laptop for video editing

Hi all,

I'm downsizing from a desktop to a laptop. It's primarily going to be used for audio/video editing so I'm wondering if a 17 inch screen is a big improvement over 15?

And is an i7 that much better than an i5?

Programs I use most are Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, inDesign, etc.

But am I spending too much for what I need?

Edit: Should mention, I do want at least 750gb of memory, I need the space.

Yes, and image processing is first and foremost about raw CPU power.

Not a bad choice, but this Tosh is cheaper and has the faster processor. The 3612QM, despite the higher model number, is slower but more power efficient, not the best choice for 17" laptop which servers more as a desktop replacement, mobility is not so much a concern.



Also comes with a faster graphics card and if 500 GB HDD is "too small" you can always replace it with a bigger drive.
