Using Powertap wheel/tyre on turbo trainer?

What do people do when using a Powertap for both road and turbotrainer? Do you use just let the road tyre on the wheel and let it wear a little extra on the turbo, or do you change to a turbo-tyre for each turbo session (surely a PIA?)? Or any other solution (and No, a second Powertap is not a 'solution' for me, anyway!)

having recently aquired a powertap hub i was just gonna use whatever tyre was on the wheel at the time. Im using the power hub as a training wheel, so just put a cheaper tyre on it to begin with - Generally whatever is on special on crc.
