I have a set of used wheels for sale. They are campagnolo record 9/10/11 speed wheels on mavic CXP 33 rims, 32 double butted spokes.

For anyone familiar with campagnolo, these are the more desirable record alloy hubs which are no longer available from campagnolo.

The wheels are perfectly true and the hubs are buttery smooth. Looking for 350ono.

Do you know if the freehub body can be changed to take shimano/sram as can be done with other campagnolo/fulcrum wheels.

The rear hub is the effectively the same as the oversize 17 mm version that is used in the higher end campagnolo and fulcrum wheels like neutrons and fulcrum zeros. You can buy a shimano compatible freehub for about 50 in wiggle.

I can't seem to follow the link on the hubs. Can you clarify the rear spacing? Is it 130?

Yes the rear spacing is 130. The freehub will take 9, 10 and 11 speed hubs; same ad all current campagnolo hubs/wheels.

Lovely hubs - how many miles on them? and are they the original skewers?

They are one of a number of sets of wheels I have used over the last five years, so I reckon about 4k km on them. The hubs are in vgc and I have a spare set of new bearings but don't believe they are needed.

The skewers in the pictures are from a much older set of hubs. I should have original ones too.

Have you tested them with 11-speed? The Ebay link you posted earlier states the hubs are 9/10/11 compatible but in one of the photos for that auction there is an "9-10 Speed compatible" sticker on one of the boxes - perhaps that sticker on the box pre-dates 11 speed though.

If they are definitely 11-speed compatible then I'll offer 280euro for them. That's short of your asking price I know but I'm basing this offer on the mileage accumulated on them, mainly in terms of wear on the braking surfaces of the rims.

Hi doozerie - I have used them with both 10 and 11 speed cassettes and they work perfectly with both.

As you guessed they were released before 11 speed was introduced, hence the reference to 9 and 10 speed. Campagnolo didn't change their free hubs when they moved to 11 speed.

I'd be happy to accept 300 if you can stretch to that?

    Thanks

Thanks. Yes, I'll go to 300euro. Would you be willing/able to swap the skewers for the originals, and throw in the spare bearings?

I'll PM you to arrange meeting up.
