Insects in new build

Our house was built over a 2 year period so it’s had lots of time to settle before we moved in. We've been living in the house since Dec 2011 but even after all the cleaning I am still finding these bugs / insects in all rooms in the house. We have a solid wood kitchen, solid wood stairs, engineered wood flooring throughout the house and tiles. The bugs are minute in size, barely visible if they stand still, it’s hard to describe them but they are almost transparent in colour or a cream colour. I find them on the silestone counter top in kitchen and on the floor in the sitting room, bedrooms etc. My laptop is always on the floor in the sitting room and when I am using it one will crawl across the keypad!! Anyone know what these bugs are? Are they something to do with a new build? With all the cleaning and mopping in the past 3 years why are they still around the house? It’s disgusting to see them, especially on kitchen counter top. What can I do to get rid of them? I did spray the kitchen counter with a fly killer and I didn't seem them for a week or so but there are back again. Most of the time I might only see 1 on its own and at the very most I would see 4 or 5 together. :eek:

Hi, have same problem with what sounds like the exact same bug in a newly built house aswell . Noticing these insects more this winter than any other. Wondering what I can do to solve the problem ? Did you find a solution?
