Well what did ye think of Chris O'Dowd's new comedy/drama Moone Boy?

    thought it was very quirky
Boyle looked well in it, despite being set in 1989!

I watched it tonight(it's on sky anytime) and I think its decent ,some funny parts in it and a couple of lol moments.
Its great to see O'Dowd bring this show to Boyle.its probably a huge boost to the town.

Ya, fair play to Chris for bringing it to Boyle. Drove through it the other day, it's looking good!

It's gas to see the 'Up Roscommon' flag in his room!

Series 2 was being filmed over the last couple of weeks. There was a St. Patrick's Day parade on the last week of September. Also because some of series 2 is set in 1990, there was a lot of World Cup related stuff. Drove through town one evening to see posters of Jack Charlton, Packie Bonner and Paul McGrath everywhere. Good fun though.
