Dublin bus ticket machines

    Just wondering I use a travel 90 ticket to get to work and scan it on the machine when I get on the bus. I was curious to know doe the bus driver see on the ticket machine he has on the left side of him what type of ticket you have scanned on the scanner. If not what is ti stop people apart from inspectors getting on the bus knowing if your using a cheaper student ticket over an adult ticket. I would say the likelihood of fare evasion this way is huge.

    Yes,the type of ticket is displayed on the Drivers interface.
