Heater Rad removal, Opel Astra 1999

    Hows the going lads,

My heater in the car emits coolant from the vents when hot, I've checked all hoses in the engine bay and no leaks in there so I'm assuming that leaves the heater rad but oddly there is no coolant in the footwell. I only use a little coolant at a time but I make sure to keep it topped up, the engine also does not overheat when driving. Can someone confirm that this sounds like a heater rad issue?.

So I'm wondering is it a balls to get at the heater rad in an astra?, I know with some cars you have to rip out the dash to get at the rad (which I wont even attempt to) but if its a simple enough job to get at I may as well do it myself as I'm fairly handy with the hands.

    Any help/suggestions at all appreciated.
