Legal requirement for shift change notice and compensation

    Hi All,

    Just asking for a friend but does anyone know the legal requirement for notice of shift change?
    Shift is going from 10hours (4pm - 2am) to 12 hours (7-7pm) 4 days a week.
    So an extra 9 hours a week.

    Just wondering if anyone has any information on what notice and compensation a company should be giving to salaried employees?

    Does anyone read the charter re hypotheticals... ;)

    Contact / visit the NERA website. 12 hour shifts are right on the limit of rest breaks unless it's an excluded profession. Have a look at that while your checking the other issue.

    I'm not asking for advice on what to do just on where I can find the information but sorry for asking delete the thread if it insulted you so much. Shheeesh!

    Calm down take a little joshing and visit the NERA website. It's an excellent resource for employment information.
