Hey lads just a general question there i have a 96 Corrola H/b 1.3 petrol and its burning oil, got a litre the other on thursday was gone again by Sunday,

Now when i say burning , I mean when i turn on the car 1st thing in the morning its the exhaust plumes like hell for the 1st 100 yards down the road and then it seems to settle down, So anybody any idea why it seems to be doing this i've heard the redex stuff into the petrol thank cleans it out and cuts out the pluming smoke or whatever it is coming out of the exhaust

Most likely valve stem seals need to be replaced cause they are worn.

There are additives you could try for a cheap fix if money is tight. No experience though! Check your local motor factors.

Tried the Wynns offering on a previous car. I was driving it a few weeks after throwing in the magic juice for fixing the seals and saw no major difference, but parked it up for a month or two after that and the day I drove it down for scrapping it started without any toxic cloud. But, I was never burning a full litre in half a week!

I'm sure that a motors factors would have a better selection than Tesco, and more than likely a more effective product.

I'd be slow to change to an Almera from a Corolla.
That model Corolla is about the most reliable you could find.
