l have social aniexty and am thinking about doing some CBT.

Has anyone ever used this & did it make any difference?

Would anyone recommend it for social aniexty?

Is it even worth it as l believe its a bit pricey...

    Any advice would be great.

Expensive but worth it. I've met literally dozens of people who were my friends but never mentioned they suffered from any form of anxiety. When they told me, each of them has sworn by CBT. Apparently it takes a while but you can't argue with the results.

You could try this site out. I know it mentions that
it's for depression but could be helpful. And it's free :)
MoodGYM is an innovative, interactive web program designed to prevent depression. It consists
of five modules, an interactive game, anxiety and depression assessments, downloadable relaxation
audio, a workbook and feedback assessment.

Using flashed diagrams and online exercises, MoodGYM teaches the principles of cognitive behaviour
therapy – a proven treatment for depression. It also demonstrates the relationship between
thoughts and emotions, and works through dealing with stress and relationship break-ups,
as well as teaching relaxation and meditation techniques.
