Samsung Galaxy S - original - shuts down for no reason

    I started having trouble with my phone a couple of weeks ago - it started to turn itself off if i listened to the radio or looked up face book - up dated the software through kees and it works ok so long as I don't go on facebook or twitter - if i do it just shuts down - battery power up at 100% on the screen

    Is the phone completely f88ked or could a replacement battery do the trick? Or so i have to bite the bullet and get a new phone?

    anyone else have the same problem -

    Do a factory reset to rule it out and report back if the issue persists.
    Back up everything first

    likely to be one specific app causing the issue.
    if thats the case, factory reset will solve it, but might be overkill.

    have you installed anything new recently, or updated anything that you use a lot.
    check the playstore reviews to see if anyone else is reporting issues.

    possibly even try something like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zomut.watchdoglite&hl=en to see if there is an app thats going nuts
