Just wondering if u need to have a degree to teach English abroad or would a diploma in a business matter suffice. I used to reach that only people with degrees in business should apply but I am not reading that anymore:confused:

A Celt or CELTA qualification is usually more essential. Although some schools can insist on teachers also holding a humanities degree.

It really depends on where you are going. If you're going to teach in a state school then perhaps the CELTA qualification is essential but if you're just teaching randomers or business english in evening classes often they'll just take a graduate native English speaker. Then again, it very much depends on the country. Good luck on finding a job teaching English in somewhere like Denmark (where they basically speak English anyway) with anything other than a HDip in education and/or a masters!
