Dublin Recruitment Agencies you would reccommend - if any!

Are there any reputable/reliable recruitment agencies around at the moment in Dublin?

I am just coming out of a short term role with a company and am back seeking work in the area of general administration / customer service / general office based roles whether management or simply data entry or customer service - anything considered really.

Would be great to even get something temporary to take me up to Xmas and to avoid having to go back on social welfare to pay the bills.

If anyone can help with suggestions or recommendations in regards to agencies they may have found work with this year or had a good experience with I'd appreciate hearing about it or getting any contact names / numbers etc.

    Thanks.

Well I just got an email from Approach People in Blackrock advising me that the company they were sending me for, were not calling me for an interview but she apologized and advised that she will keep in touch. It is almost unheard of that a recruitment consultant would get back to you like this so I am shocked (but in a good way!) Btw. The reason you got no msg's back is probably peoples opinion of agencies at the moment unfortunately

There aren't really any to be honest.. Most will just lure you in with a fake job that doesn't exist, which you will apply for then they will call you and tell you they need to meet you for an hour before they can submit your CV to companies. When you do this you will then be told that you just missed out on the job but they will keep you updated for future roles that arise.

Steer clear of agencies as all there good for is wasting your time because they have no jobs.

Or because there's already a massive thread on agencies.

I found La Creme good. CPL also!

I DEFINITELY wouldn't recommend La Creme! They're beyond useless, and totally unprofessional. They even have their own thread which I'll try to dig out for you. CPL are better depending on the recruiter.

    Stay away from Hays too.

Only going from my own experience- they got me my current role which I very grateful for, as it's with a really good company. They were also really thorough in prepping me with mock interviews etc, which I found very helpful! Maybe as you said, it depends on recruiter?

Yep I read the thread in full, not exactly singing their praises alright! :o

Again, I can only speak for myself when saying I had a very positive experience with them.

professional liars. wouldn't recommend any of the 4 or 5 I have dealt with both recruiting and moving jobs myself.

Totally agree with Hays. I had a interview with a financial company last Thursday. When I rang on Wed, the girl involved in Hays asked "what I was ringing for?". I adv to say the info had not come that I needed for trw. After the interview I rung the girl involved in Hays to say how it went. Again she started "what can I do you for?" instead of "how did the interview go". I have not got a call back since last week which means I have not got the job but the thing that p***es me off is that she was so unprofessional in the whole thing. To be honest I could not be a***d ringing her back. Not worth it. Hays say they have 4,000 jobs available on Sat. After seeing Career Zoo in Feb I very much doubt it

I'm not sure if they cover admin/customer support roles (though they certainly may) but I can absolutely recommend Clarion Resourcing. Very genuine.
