this is a wii problem it does not output rgb, what you used was the scart adaptor but you have me confused when you said you got an RGB cable!! what is that? best picture on wii is via component but that tv does not have component.

    how old is the wii?

    Hi there
    Sorry for the confusion
Its a couple of years old
What I bought is an RGB cable designed for the Wii to replace the cable that came with it
As far as I know the USA versions output component and the Euro ones O/P RGB

ah got you now, i bought the wii a few years ago and I am sure back then it did not do rgb at least the one I had so I got the component lead and the tv I have does component but I have the 2 scarts for other things and may have got the component for that reason. The wii I have does not do RGB but I will double check later and I may have got a usa version as well.

i cant find manual for your tv, so basically you should turn on rgb in wii then on the scart input on tv eg ext1 you should be able to change that to RGB as well.

The Samung manual is very vague about the scart input:(
